Belinda Richardson

Dancer

Belinda, a guest artist this summer with Sand Dance Project, lives in Dallas, Texas and is the owner and artistic director of Preston Hollow Dance.  She is an award-winning choreographer and dance educator.  Belinda trained with the Deborah Case Dance Academy in McAllen, TX studying the Vaganova method since the age of 10.  She has worked closely with Prima ballerina assoluta Galina Mezentseva of The Kirov Ballet and Alex Ossadnik of Ballet Idaho.  In 2012, Belinda earned a Master of Arts in Dance from Texas Woman's University with her concentration in women's studies and disruptive performance art.

Belinda specializes in the art of classical ballet  with an emphasis on somatic awareness.
